WireCo WorldGroup becomes Lloyd's Registered

Kansas City, June 8, 2009 – Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Inc. has formally approved the business and manufacturing processes of WireCo WorldGroup, Kansas City, Mo. 

 

After months of process and procedure review, Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Inc., granted certification to WireCo WorldGroup manufacturing facilities in St. Joseph, Mo. and Sedalia, Mo.

 

This certification, along with WireCo WorldGroup’s existing API, ISO, AS-9100 and QPL certifications, allows customers the confidence and assurance that all manufactured wire and wire rope products meet and exceed customer and industry specifications.

 

The Lloyd’s Register Group is an independent risk management organization providing risk assessment and mitigation services and management systems certification.  It is diversified into multiple sectors including maritime, oil & gas, process industries, nuclear and rail.

 

WireCo WorldGroup’s Lloyd’s Register certification will remain valid until 2012.
