Ira Glazer

President and Chief Executive Officer

Ira Glazer joined WireCo WorldGroup in July 2003 and directed the company’s impressive turnaround and growth over the past five years. Before joining WireCo WorldGroup, Mr. Glazer spent six years as a turnaround consultant/restucturing officer with a number of firms, including Getzler Heinrich & Co., where he was responsible for design and implementation of the company’s reorganization plan. Earlier, he spent over 20 years in corporate leadership positions, including being CEO of Castle Dental Corp as well as CFO and COO for Maidenform. Mr. Glazer began his executive career at Chase Manhattan Bank as Vice President and Division Executive in commercial lending. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Pace University in New York.
